Freekonvert combines open-source tools (LibreOffice, Ghostscript, pdf-lib, PDF.js) with a clean, respectful user experience. The result is a fast, reliable and permanently free solution.

The site is operated by an independent team based in Montenegro. Founded in 2026. We are not a corporate project and we do not sell user data — we earn through non-intrusive advertising (Google AdSense), which keeps the service 100% free.

Most tools (merge PDF, split, PDF↔JPG) run directly in your browser. Files never leave your computer.

Tools that require LibreOffice or Ghostscript (PDF↔Word, compression) process files on our server in Germany (EU). Files are automatically deleted within 10 minutes.
